Hello,
My photography experience dates back to within my lifetime from SLR through to my current Canon 6d.
However, I was recently given some old camera equipment that belonged to my great grandfather-in-law who was a professional photographer in Aberdeen, South Dakota in the 1920-30's. My youngest son took all the handheld cameras for himself and has them on display in his bedroom, but he didn't take the lenses, which may actually be worth a little more than the cameras.
Specifically, I am curious about how best to photograph the lenses so that a prospective buyer can see any serious issues with them.
One of the lenses is a Wollensak Velostigmat Series II 12” from the 1930's.
Any advice would be great, thanks.
Charlie
