I've had this Kodak Duaflex for the better part of my life. My dad found it in the streets of New York during his days as a taxi driver. I've had it on display in my room only knowing it was a camera when it finally dawned on me to find out more about it. After going through page 3 of a Google search and only finding two pages other than Amazon and Ebay that reference this particular camera, the rest are more geared to its successors; I found only that it was produced between 1947 and 1950 and the camera cost 17.25 or about 160 today. Other than that, I have no idea. It's in rough shape, the edges are dinged, it doesn't close completely but that can be expected after being on the street for who knows how long but shockingly, the lenses aren't scratched, the mirror hasn't cracked but the mechanics needs a little cleaning. Other than the strap that I saw in a picture of a Duaflex 2, that I assume should be on mine, I don't think anything else is missing. Can anybody shine some light on what I have and possibly provide me with links to anything helpful?
