Hi everyone, I'm new on this forum and say hello to all the members. I have decided to return to film photography (as I practiced a little when I was younger and at the time it was very common practice). I have bought a Zeiss Ikonta with the security system in the winding button that prevents multiple exposure (it must be Ikonta C or Ercona, with 120 film). My idea was to shoot in 6x9 format in b&w. When I started shooting I realized that the anti-multiple exposure system allowed the film to wind only 2 or 3 cms ahead and then blocked the advance of the film (which is only the 1/3 of what is needed for 6x9 format) To unblock the film the only solution I found is to shoot in a dark cloth to unblock the security (and do that operation twice) to find the following number appear in the red hole and be ready (at last!) to shoot a new photo. I suppose this camera has been designed to work differently. The camera is in perfect working order, and there is something that must be done that I don't know. Is there anyone familiar with that cameras who could help me solve my problem? Thanks for helping, if someone can, Steph, from France.
